Alternating Zoom classes with online materials on Moodle on weekly basis.
Interactive and immersive, this course invites you to explore the wonders of stylistics, with emphasis on academic texts written in English. We will engage with authentic texts and you will apply your newly acquired skills through practical activities, mostly corpus analyses. The course is divided into separate modules dealing with keyword analysis, collocations, and genre analysis.
The course offers expert guidance and personalized feedback. The objective is to equip you with skills going beyond your academic needs, with the ultimate goal of creating autonomous and independent language users.
The course will take place online every other week. In the weeks between you will be asked to submit tasks on your own and you will receive comments on them.
The course is aimed at advanced English users (B2+).
