Our language center emphasizes the development of specific language skills (e.g. writing/presentation skills), particularly in the area of academic communication in English. We offer courses in the following languages: English, Czech for Foreigners, German, French, Spanish, and Italian. In the school year 2024–2025, we will also offer Japanese for complete beginners.
Center for Academic Writing
The Center is modelled on principles guiding writing centres in many English-speaking countries. We aid researchers in honing their skills to communicate about their research namely in writing, but we also offer support for the development of presentation skills.
